Training her to be a lady

I'm not raising a girl, I'm raising a little lady!
There's so much I want to teach her about being delicate yet strong, intelligent yet silly, responsible yet her age.
I take the parenting responsibility serious but I attempt to do my duty in a fun way.

We are the ones who shape/mold our children into citizens. Boys should be raised to be gentlemen and girls to be ladies.

Legs crossed at the ankles like a true lady.

She's done this since she was an embryo! haha she was truly "dainty" in my womb. She'd have her "broken wrist" pose as if she was displaying the finest pearls and her little baby ankles crossed. Buuuuut I would've taught her this if she hadn't been so ready made because it's part of being a lady.
@ the nail boutique
Cassie enjoyed getting her nails manicured and designed professionally. She knew to say please and thank you and to look teh technician in the eye when speaking.
patience is a virtue, pampering takes time
Waiting as patiently as a 3 yr old can. She knew that if she chose to move her nails could get "messed up" so she sat there and waited for perfection.
Put your trust in me, I love you!
She tells me she loves me without my prompting and I love that. She knows what her definition of love is and shows it.

It's never to early to instill gentlemanliness or ladylikenesses. (I love those words I used pah!)

Do as Momma Says, Do as Momma Does
