I LOVE THE SEASONS! I don't know if I've mentioned this before but we live in the wonderful GREAT LAKES STATE-MICHIGAN. Here you get all 4 seasons. Winter has arrived. How are you celebrating this season?I am celebrating by:
1-Eating pecans galore!
2-I bought my nephew Toby-Sue this adorable Santa Suit!
3-I went to have a soul warming
4- I sang Christmas carols with my baby girl Cassie. I put my money on her being a great singer later in life as she masters her vocals
5- I read her the classic book, "The Snowy Day" by Ezra Jack Keats
This is truly becoming a bahumbug-type-a-weekend so Im brainstorming ways to make it better.
Cassie and I have been super sick so we are missing out on 2 fabulous events we were invited to this wknd.
The second reason is I cant get my pics to upload right so I'm limi
ted this blog and I had fully intended on cathing everyone up on all that has been happening in the Matthew's Family.Okay lets see what's my gameplan for having a terrific wknd:
1-Buy the last few things on Cassie's list
2-Finally find the pink wrapping paper I've been searching for
3-Get some Hershey's candy canes
4-Holiday baking!
5-Get some pics developed
6-Work out Work out and Work out some more!
7-Watch "The Holiday" dvd with Adrian
Reasons why Im grateful for Adrian today
1-He cares enough about our daughter's well-being to tell me to keep her inside one more day even though he knows I'd be totally crushed about missing the princess party
2-He followed my list to a T for grocery shopping yesterday
3-He lets me get my "me time" in
4-He gave me the best massage yesterday when I had tension in my head/neck
5-He's not to sensitive or stuck up to take my teasing
6-He tells me when my breath is smelly
7-He adores our baby girl as much as if not more than I do
I'm anxious to see how today turns out.
Oh yes I almost forgot. I am "shopping for friends". I want to follow some fellow bloggers b/c there is so much to learn from other people. Nothing beats finding someone you can aspire to be like or someone who sparks a great idea in you. The bible urges us to "show ourselves friendly" if we want to make friends.
